Medtronic Extended infusion set is designed with new materials to reduce burden and allow for longer wear. Its design mitigates the loss of preservative and insulin aggregation, preventing local inflammation and allowing a longer wear of the infusion set. Designed for up to 7 days of continuous insulin delivery.The insertion design makes the Medtronic Extended set easy to place in difficult-to-reach parts of the body and it is almost painless.
